Synopsis:  Body Contact is the second of a three-part erotic series from New York Times and USA best-selling author Cathryn Fox.Asking pro football player Jack Rider to teach me everything he knows about sex might have seemed like a good idea at the time, but now I’m not so sure I can handle a guy like him. I thought he’d just straight up do me, ridding me of my pesky virginity sooner rather than later. But no, he had his own ideas about bringing me up to speed on sex. His two weeks of slow seduction might just be the death of me, but since he’s the one in charge, I have to play the game his way. Not that I’m not enjoying it. I am. Who wouldn’t, right? I guess I just can’t help but wonder how I’ll ever let another man touch me after him.

This is the second of a three-part series full of mind-blowing sex, featuring a dirty-mouthed football player who knows the score and an inexperienced therapist who needs to learn it. BODY CONTACT is sure to leave readers begging for more. The next installment comes September 2016.

ALJackson-WaitBookCover5x8_BW_HIGHFrom NYT & USA Today bestselling author comes a new Bleeding Stars stand-alone novel…

She is his strength and he is her weakness. And this time he won’t let her go.

Edie Evans is gorgeous.

She’s also the definition of off-limits.

But that didn’t stop me from sneaking into her room to comfort her at night.

But guys like me? We destroy everything, so it should have been no surprise when I destroyed us, too.

The night I sent her running, I thought I’d never see her again.

Until I saw her standing like a vision in the crowd.

Austin Stone is dangerous.

He broke my heart and I refused to give him the chance to do it again.

It’s been years since I’ve seen him, and now I can’t do anything but stare at the gorgeous, tattooed man playing onstage. I should run. I know I should. But like a fool, I run straight back to him.

Our desire is overpowering.
Our need unrelenting.

She is my hope.
He is my weakness.

We should have known a passion this intense would burn us right into the ground.

Review: Born Sinner by S.L. Jennings

Born Sinner AMAZON

Twenty-two years ago, I was cut from a cold, sodden womb, and cradled in the filth and poverty of Chicago’s concrete arms. Statistically, I wasn’t supposed to survive these streets past the age of eighteen.

Fate had a different plan.

I was bred for one purpose and one purpose only: to unleash death and destruction on my world.

My thoughts are power.

My words are weapons.

Evil created me then grace tried to save me. But first… they tried to kill me.
They call themselves the Se7en. They are sin and salvation, and everything we’ve feared from the beginning of time. And their leader is the deadliest of them all.

He doesn’t lose.

He doesn’t compromise.

And most importantly, he doesn’t distract himself with mortal weakness.

Not until me.

Kill one to save a million.

That’s what he told me when he took me as his prisoner.

Kill one to save a million.

That’s what he’s been trying to tell himself ever since he took me into his arms.

5 Star Review

This book, man.  It’s difficult to give you an accurate review of the awesomeness that is Born Sinner without giving too much away, but I’m going to try.

First off, we’re thrust (heh) right into the action.  Our main character and boss bitch, Eden, gets herself into a heap of trouble and winds up falling in with a group of very interesting characters.  Eden has lived a difficult life which has included her insane mother trying to kill her while she was still in her womb and then attempting to finish the job a few years later.  Eden’s mom was convinced that Eden was pure evil, a product of an unholy union between Eden’s Mom and…wait for it…the devil.  Yep, Lucifer himself.

Obviously, this has caused Eden to walk through life tormented that her mother hated her so much.  It has made her consider her life worthless.  There’s also the tiny issue that Eden has the ability to make people do…bad things.  So when Eden finds herself with a scary group of people, the truth is slowly revealed and that truth reveals that maybe Eden’s Mama wasn’t quite so crazy (I mean, she totally was, but maybe not full-on crazy. Like, half-crazy).  Eden winds up being tossed into a world that includes angel, demons, witches, and warlocks.  Her newfound friends are tasked with trying to discover just how powerful Eden is and prevent her from turning to her true nature, which is pure evil.

But while Eden is being tormented by the newly revealed truth and the nightmares that have plagued her for years, she’s got a fierce hero in her corner. Someone who wants to show her that she can deny her urges, make different choices, and become someone better.  Someone good.  Someone who can find redemption.  L – our hero – is the leader of the group that protects Eden.  He’s got his own unique set of issues and while he was once tasked with killing people like Eden, L sees something different in this girl.  He no longer wants to destroy her, he wants to protect her, he wants to help her change, he just wants her.  In fact, he wants her so much that L is willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for Eden.

At its core, Born Sinner is a story of good versus evil.  A story of family.  And a story of sacrifice.  The world building was amazing, the pacing was on-point, and if she hadn’t ended it on a cliffhanger the size of the Grand Canyon, I might’ve sent SL Jennings flowers.  But I won’t, because she deserves to be punished 🙂 The second book of the Born Sinners series is HIGHLY ANTICIPATED by this reviewer.
