In 2013, Jess got the bright idea to start a book blog. Being a voracious reader, it only made sense that she would want to share her thoughts and favorite books with an audience. During her college and grad school days, she fell out of love with the simple joy of reading. After a cross country move in 2012, she picked up Fifty Shades of Grey and hasn’t looked back since! With well over 400 books (and counting) in the BDSM, Erotica, New Adult, and Contemporary Romance genres, Jess is our founding ‘book whore’ of Flirty Fiction Blog.

A few weeks after the initial kick-off of Flirty Fiction (then titled Juicy Bits Book Blog), Jess invited her friend, Shara to join the fun! Shara has always been an avid reader but it wasn’t until she picked up Thoughtless by S.C. Stephens that she fell in the love with the Contemporary Romance genre. Like Jess, she’s also a big fan of BDSM, Erotica, and New Adult genres. She also has a soft spot for Sci-Fi and Urban Fantasies that include a dash of angst and romance for good measure. Shara is always keen to read a story that include a tattooed or pierced, bad-boy hero! A writer herself, her first New Adult genre novel, entitled ‘Fault Lines’ will be published in 2014!

We promise to review everything we finish, though we don’t guarantee that we’ll finish everything we start. Even if you don’t think your book sounds like something we’d be interested in, send us an email anyways! We’re not averse to reading Young Adult or something in a genre that isn’t considered our ‘norm.’ We LOVE new and independent writers and have found some of our favorite stories from you guys. We promise that we’re super nice people and tons of fun and we love hearing from authors and fans!
